Road safety should be made compulsory on the school curriculum.
That's according to Newbridge man, Oliver Moyles, who lost three family members - including his daughter - in road traffic accidents.
His comments came following a discussion on road safety this morning on Kildare Today.
Oliver's daughter Kate died in a motorway pile-up during foggy conditions in 2007.
Ms Moyles had just dropped off her five-year-old daughter Ella to school and was on her way to work at the Sallins Medical Centre in dense fog when she crashed into the back of a fire engine which had been called to the pile-up on the M7.
Her dad, Oliver, has said schools are the ideal settings to start educating people around road safety.
