The works will take place until 15th April.
Irish Water advises that essential, unplanned works will take place at Osberstown Wastewater Treatment Plant from today until Friday 15 April.
It says the works are necessary to allow for continued process management on site.
Irish Water advises that, during these works, there is a risk of intermittent odours from the plant.
However, it says it will make every effort to minimise the risk of odours and to complete these works as quickly as possible.
If customers notice odours they should contact the Irish Water Customer Care Centre helpline, open 24/7, on 1850 278 278 or email operations@water.ie.
Irish Water says real time reporting allows for the investigation of the reported odour as close to the time of the incident as possible.
