The theft occurred between 1pm on Sunday 19th of July and 9am on Monday 20th of July.
Gardaí are investigating after a number of high-value tropical fish were stolen from a house in Newbridge.
Five tangs fish and various equipment was taken during the theft which occurred between 1pm on Sunday 19th of July and 9am on Monday 20th of July.
A home was entered on the Blackberry lane area of the town and the fish and equipment was taken.
Speaking on Kildare Today, Naas Garda David Prendergast said that it was a quite unusual theft:
"They're yellow in colour, they're quite high in value, these were taken along with various equipment for a fish tank including pumps, weights and brackets, that are the RedSea brand."
"It's a very unusual, specific theft."
