It comes as illegal encampments and dumping have been seen on the Curragh in recent weeks.
Fianna Fáil Senator for Kildare South Fiona O'Loughlin has described the illegal encampments on the Curragh as "incredibly frustrating for everyone" and that there has been "devastation caused".
Speaking exclusively to Kfm, Senator O' Loughlin gave an update on the illegal encampments in the Curragh.
"We know that there's a lot of waste already and in fact some of the agencies have gone in to remove the waste, again that's a cost to the state, unfortunately damage has been done to the fourth green in Cill Dara golf club."
"I am as frustrated and annoyed as anyone else that this is happening once again."
"Once again I've been inundated with messages from people who really care about the Curragh, residents that live close to it and indeed those who use the amenities on a recreational basis."
Senator O' Loughlin said the Minister for Justice has committed to sitting down with her in the next week to talk about the issue.
