The mass of 18-year-old Jeremy O’Brien was held at the Holy Family Church in Askea, Carlow, this morning.
The funeral has taken place for the fourth of the five teenagers killed in a head-on collision on the M9 in Moone motorway just over a week ago.

A lone piper led the funeral procession as Jeremy O’Brien’s coffin was carried from the church in a horse-drawn hearse towards nearby St Mary’s Cemetery.
During the funeral mass mourners were asked to pray for those who have been injured and mourn those who have died.
Armed Garda detectives were stationed at checkpoints on the outskirts of Carlow Town, but the funeral passed off peacefully.
O’Brien is the fourth of the five teenagers killed in the M9 crash to be laid to rest in recent days.
The final funeral, for 17-year-old Jack Kennedy, will take place at St Michael’s Church in Athy tomorrow morning.
