A 19-year-old with a history of car thefts in Kildare and other counties has been on a crime spree since escaping from Balbriggan Garda Station last month.

It's unclear how he managed to be in an outside area at the back of the station.
He had been arrested after allegedly stealing fuel in Santry while driving a car taken in a Kerry burglary.
Since his escape, according to the Irish Independent, he’s been linked to about 20 crimes - mainly car break-ins across Waterford, and earlier incidents in Kilkenny and Tipperary.
Gardaí have launched a nationwide search.
Previously jailed for car thefts in Kildare, Dublin, Cork, and Laois, he had been released from the Midlands Prison in March.
