The incident happened sometime between last Wednesday (12 August) & Friday (14 August).
Gardaí are appealing for information after a bailer was stolen from a farm shed in the Athy area last week.
The incident happened sometime between last Wednesday (12 August) & Friday (14 August).
Entry was gained when a lock was broken on a gate of the farm, in the Castlemitchell, Rheban area.
A New Holland Long Bailer with an estimated value of €16,000 was stolen from the site.
Speaking on Kildare Today, Naas Garda Mo Nerney says that CCTV enquiries are ongoing in the surrounding areas, and says it has been "very distressing" for the farmer who owns the bailer.
Athy Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the Castle Rheban area between 12th-14th August.
