Gardaí are appealing for information following two separate robberies in a Boylesports in Riverforest, Leixlip, and a Spar in Newtown, Maynooth.
Leixlip Gardaí are investigating a robbery that occurred on Friday at 8.30pm, in which a white male aged approximately 17-21 with a strong Dublin accent entered the premises.
He was wearing a balaclava and carrying a knife, and demanded money from staff.
He left with a quantity of cash.
Gardaí are urging those with information to contact Leixlip Garda Station on 01 666 7800.
In a separate incident, Gardaí in Maynooth are investigating a robbery that occurred on Monday at 7.45pm at the Spar in Newtown, Maynooth.
A male was wearing a balaclava, green bomber jacket, blue Northface tracksuit bottoms and black Adidas runners, and carried a knife.
He demanded money, and left on foot with a quantity of cash.
He was seen headed towards the Meadowbrook area, and was also seen carrying a red Supervalu Bag For Life.
