Gardai are appealing for witnesses in relation to both incidents
Gardaí in Maynooth are appealing for information following two recent thefts in the town.
The first incident occurred last Saturday between 2 and 4 p.m. when a locked Xiaomi electric scooter was stolen from outside The Glenroyal Hotel gym.
Gardaí are reviewing CCTV footage and seeking witnesses who may have been in the area at the time.
In a separate incident on Monday, a black Nike bag containing an Apple iPad was stolen on Carton Avenue.
The owner had placed the bag down while speaking with friends after getting off a school bus but returned to find it missing.
Gardaí are exploring all leads, including tracking the iPad via Find My technology.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Maynooth Gardaí.
