Gardai Investigating Suspected Arson Attack At A Home In Newbridge

There was substantial damage caused to the house but the family managed to escape.

Gardaí in Newbridge are currently investigating an incident of suspected arson which occurred on a residential property in the Rosconnell Estate in Newbridge on Tuesday, July 30th at 3am.

Occupants of the house were woken by a smoke alarm and discovered a downstairs window had been smashed.

There was substantial damage caused to the house but the family managed to escape.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Newbridge Garda station on 045-431212.
