Gardaí have confirmed to Kfm that the body of a male aged in his 60s was found in the water yesterday
Gardaí are investigating all circumstances following the discovery of a body at the Grand Canal at Alasty, between Ardclough and Sallins, yesterday.
In a statement to Kfm, Gardaí confirmed that the body of a male aged in his 60s was found in the water.
His body has since been removed to Naas General Hospital.
A post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
