Both incidents took place in sports clubs in the area
Gardaí are investigating two incidents that took place in Athy at the end of March this year.
The two incidents have caused a total of €7000 worth of damage.
A criminal damage incident occurred at Athy GAA Grounds between March 28th and 29th.
Damage was done to over 20 seats in the stands and a number of signs around the ground were also damaged to the value of €2000.
The other incident was a burglary that happened on the night of March 30th at Athy Town Soccer Club in Aldridge Park.
The suspects are said to have caused up to €5000 in damage.
The suspects got into the club house by forcing open the front door.
One inside they proceeded to cause a substantial amount of damage to the property including vending machines and the CCTV cameras.

Speaking on this mornings Kildare Today show, Garda Aidan McGuane says they are anxious to find the culprits of the two incidents.
