Gardaí in Athy are investigating two incidents of criminal damage which occurred to two cars in the area.
The incidents took place in the early hours of the morning on April 18th, between 3am and 4am.
In the first case a silver Toyota car which was parked in the driveway of a house in the Coneyboro area was damaged.
The rear passenger window was smashed and the offender pulled out the ignition barrel attempting to take the car, but was unsuccessful.
The second incident happened in the Andrew Meadows estate.
The offender damaged the panel of glass in this car, no property was taken.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information to contact Athy Garda Station on 059-8634210.
