Gardaí say the interceptions prevented the drugs from reaching the wider market, which could have placed significant pressure on emergency and medical services.
A large quantity of illegal drugs were seized by Gardaí at the District X festival at Palmerstown House Estate over the weekend of Friday 19th and Saturday 20th September.
Speaking to Kfm, Garda Chris Fallon said the operation saw a strong Garda presence at the event, with multiple seizures carried out.

Despite the seizures, the festival itself was described as a well-run and successful event.
