The incident took place in Athy in the early hours of Saturday morning
One man was required to be hospitalised following an assault on him and a group of men after a night of socialising in Athy.
The incident took place at St Johns Lane, Athy on Saturday morning at approximately 1.38am.
A group of six men were approached by three unknown males, with a brief conversation taking place.
An argument ensued, resulting in two of the six men receiving punches to the eye.
One man required an ambulance to be called and receive hospitalisation.
The injured parties are okay, and Gardaí in Athy are now looking for anyone with information or dashcam footage of the area to contact Athy garda station on 059 863 4210.
