Based on a description provided by staff, Gardaí intercepted and arrested a man in the area a short time later, recovering both the stolen cash and a replica firearm.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at a shop in Naas.
A man entered the Centra store at Hazelmere shortly before 8 o’clock on Friday evening, December 5th, with what appeared to be a handgun.
A sum of money was taken during the incident.
