Naas Roads Policing Unit stopped the driver over the weekend, who was also found to have no insurance or tax on the vehicle
Whilst on duty on Sunday, Naas Roads Policing Unit stopped a vehicle in the south of the county.
When stopped, the driver stated: "I'm a chef late for work".
It was found that the vehicle has no insurance or tax.
Gardaí then performed a roadside drugs test, which found the driver to test positive for both cocaine and cannabis.
Subsequently, the driver was arrested and the vehicle was seized.
Court proceedings are to follow.
