That's a 100% increase on Friday's figure, when 7 people were admitted, without a bed.

The Irish Nurses & Midwives Organisation reports that, nationally, 223 patients are on gurneys at Ireland's hospitals.

University Hospital, Limerick is the most over-crowded; there are 26 people on trolleys there.
