There's been a drop of almost 50% in the number of patients on trolleys at Naas General in the last 24 hours
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation reported 12 patients without beds in the Emergency Dept on Tuesday.
That was the highest figure in Leinster.
Today, the number has fallen to 13.
There are no patients on gurneys on the Kildare facility's wards.
Nationwide, there are 499 people on trolleys.
Over-crowding is most acute at University Hospital, Galway where 54 patients are on gurneys.
