Sky has yet to provide an additional update.
Damage caused to a fiber cable during an excavation on a construction site has been blamed on internet outages across Kildare.
Engineers temporarily restored service at lunchtime.
However, it's been lost again, with work still being carried out.
Sky has not provided an additional update as of yet.
Earlier, a spokesperson said: "There is a SIRO network outage and it is affecting some of our broadband customers in Kildare. We don’t have definitive timelines just yet, but we are working with SIRO to resolve the issue as a matter of urgency. I’ll follow up as soon as we know more."
Service returned briefly but as Technicians continue to work on completing the fix, the service has been interrupted. We are close to the end line. Hopefully not long now.
