Kildare has received just under €20,000 under the Holiday Hunger Pilot, a summer meals initiative supporting vulnerable schoolchildren.
Only 20 schools in the county are taking part - placing Kildare 15th nationally.

The pilot is part of a €1.3 million government programme rolled to address holiday hunger among children with special educational needs and those at risk of disadvantage.
The pilot will be reviewed later this year.
