Just Ten Per Cent Of Households Control Nearly Half Of Ireland's Wealth

Economist at Technological University of Dublin, Emma Howard says people who own their own homes are accruing wealth.

48 per cent of the country's net worth is controlled by 10 per cent of households.

Figures from the Central Bank reveal the net worth of households stood at one point two trillion euro, during the first 3 months of the year.

It's an increase of six point three billion euro from the last quarter of 2024.
