The council has a number of issues with the roads at various locations
The Kildare and West Wicklow Society for the Prevention of Cruelty against Animals have been turned down by Kildare County Council to remain at their current location in Athgarvan.
The road has been deemed "too windy" by the council.
On Kildare Today on Thursday morning, Sally McCaffrey, Honorary Secretary said that they have been renting the location in Athgarvan, with the view to move to a more permanent place.
Ms. McCaffery said that they have tried to purchase other sites, one of which was refused because the road was too straight.
