Funds granted by the Rural and Community Development this afternoon.
Kildare County Council has been allocated €270,000 for rural roads up-grades.
The monies, from to Dept. of Rural and Community Development, are from a nationwide allocation of €10.5 million.
The funds are ringfenced for expenditure on non-public roads.
