Kildare County Council have announced a Free Mattress Amnesty Day for householders.
Residents are invited to bring unwanted mattresses for free disposal during this one-day event.
It will take place on Sunday (6 September) at AES Recycling, Silliot Hill, Kilcullen.
The event provides a convenient and environmentally responsible way to dispose of old household mattresses.
This event is for mattresses only, double, single and triple mattresses only will be accepted.
Divans, pillows, bed frames, foot stools, couches, armchairs are not accepted, the event is not open to commercial or charity entities and is restricted to household customers.
The event is in partnership with AES Recycling and supported by the Circular Economy Fund, is pleased to announce a Free Mattress Amnesty Day for householders.
