The incident occurred in 2017.
Kildare County Council is being asked to "provide a broad outline" of the main point of contention with the Department of Defence on dumping on the Curragh.
The incidence, in the vicinity of Donnelly's Hollow, occurred in 2017.
According to the Minsiter for Defence, "material deposited was identified as clay which matched the profile of indigenous Curragh soil with trace amounts of construction and demolition materials."
Independent Cllr., Fiona McLoughlin Healy wants to know "the details of who ordered the mediation and any schedule or deadline for its completion".
Her motion will be debated at the July meeting of the Kildare/Newbridge Municipal District on Wednesday.
The Minister for Defence, Simon Coveney's, most recent statement on the matter was in May, to Kildare South Sinn Féin TD, Patrcia Ryan " Since this occurrence in 2017, officials from both my Department and the local authority have been in regular and continuing contact with a view to resolving this matter to the satisfaction of all parties. I am advised that Kildare County Council has acknowledged that the results of the environmental assessment carried out on the site adjacent to Donnelly's Hollow show no evidence of any environmental pollution at that location.
The Deputy can be assured that my officals are continuing to engage with the local authority on the issue."
