A new site was acquired in 2019.
Kildare County Council is being asked to issue an up-date on delivery of a new library in Clane.
The current facility is based at The Woods Centre in Abbeylands in the town.
However, KCC purchased a new site, in the town centre, in August of 2019.
It does not appear that, in the interim, a public consultation has taken place or any tenders for the project have issued in the interim.
The motion, by Independent Cllr., Padraig McEvoy, will come before the Clane Maynooth Municipal District for debate at its monthly meeting on Friday.
