Registrations taking almost nine weeks.
Kildare has some of the longest waiting times for the registration of the birth of a child.
It is taking new Kildare parents almost nine weeks to register their sons and daughters.

While the wait time in Dublin and Monaghan is over 11 weeks.
The figures are based on registrations completed in September and prior to the re-opening of Civil Registration Offices.
