A Kildare based building firm is seeking permission for a significant expansion of its premises.
Alcrete Building Systems has submitted a planning application for leave for a "7,35m2" extension to its existing light industry/warehouse facility, of 15 metres in height.
Its on the firm's site at Arthurstown.
It also wants to add 30 parking spaces, and a HGV marshalling yard.
KCC is scheduled to issue a decision on September 29th.

The proposed development is comprised of an extension of c.7,35m2, inclusive of 2 no. ancillary toilet blocks (102M2), measuring C.15.73M in height and adjoined via link canopy (260M2) to the rear (south-east) elevation of their existing warehouse granted under Kildare County Council Ref. 03/364. The development includes for the provision of 30 no. car parking spaces, bicycle parking areas, and an ancillary HGV marshalling yard. Access to the development is via the existing site access/egress gates located on the L2019 road. The development includes for surface water attenuation facilities, decommissioning of existing on-site treatment plant and provision of a new on-site treatment plant and percolation area, associated landscaping, paving, etc. and all associated site development works
