Applications are open until 5pm on 15th July.
Kildare County Council has announced that it will be awarding funding from the National Transport Authority (NTA) to deliver and install cycle parking to schools and clubs throughout the county.
The aim of the project is to reduce vehicular journeys and to increase cycling as a form of sustainable transport while also promoting health and wellbeing.
If you would like your school or club to avail of this new cycle parking initiative and have cycle parking stands supplied and installed on the premises complete the online application form here to register your interest.
Kildare County Council has said it will provide and install cycle stands at the school or club premises of successful applicants.
To express an interest to obtain these cycle stands, complete the online application form enclosed and email to activetravel@kildarecoco.ie.
Application is open until the closing date on July 15th, 2022 @ 4pm.
The requirements of each premises will be assessed, and Kildare County Council will advise on the options available and arrange for delivery and installation of the cycle parking stands to the successful school/club.
