The derelict houses on Basin Street were put forward by councillor Bill Clear
Kildare County Council have taken possession over derelict houses on Basin Street in Naas, and will renovate them to provide housing.
The project is expected to take 6-12 months.
Social democrats councillor Bill Clear says this project will help with the housing crisis:
Kildare Coco has taken possession of these houses. They will be renovated to provide housing for people on housing list.

I filled out documents to put them on derelict site a couple of years ago. I'm glad to see them finally being taken over by KCC. @frank_oconnor @KildareCoCo pic.twitter.com/v7Mdcrn6Gu
