Since 2022, Kildare County Council has handed over nearly €17,000 to drivers for pothole-related damage.
In that time, 95 claims were submitted. 88 have been settled.
Across the country, pothole complaints have surged — up 92 per cent in three years.
Cork tops the list, followed by Dublin, Kerry and Limerick.
