The poor weather played a role in keeping people indoors.
Kildare Fire Service says Hallowe'en was quieter than ususal, helped by the poor weather conditions.
However, it did have to respond to 9 bonfire related events.
3 of those calls were in the Newbridge area.
Ben Woodhouse is Kildare Assistance Chief Fire Office.
Speaking to Kildare Today, he says there were a similar number of calls in the Naas area.
