They were stolen from land in Harristown, Kilcullen.
Kildare Gardai are appealing to the farming community for any information, following the theft of scores of sheep.
40 animals, in all, were taken from lands in Harristown, Kilcullen, between September 11th and 18th.
Gardai says the thieves would have needed a large truck or trailer to move the sheep.
