Kildare Home Of Late RTÉ Presenter Marian Finucane Sells For Almost €400,000 Below Asking Price

The Kildare home of the late RTÉ broadcaster Marian Finucane and her late husband John Clarke sold for nearly €400,000 below the asking price.

According to the Irish Independent, Ms Finucane, who died suddenly at her home in 2020, built Stream House with her husband in 2014.

It was placed on the market in June 2025 for €1.35m after he passed away.

In February of this year, a company connected to Andrea Jebb, the owner of Ireland’s largest private creche, Junior Genius Childcare, completed the sale.

Ms Jebb said she bought Stream House as a “long-term investment” and was planning to use it to provide accommodation for employees of Junior Genius, as well as for personal use, including equestrian activities on the surrounding lands.

According to Daft.ie, Stream House went sale agreed for €960,000, almost €400,000 less than hoped.
