Animal welfare charity ISPCA issues an appeal for help.
The ISPCA has issued an appeal for home-owners in Kildare and around the country to house unwanted dogs.
It says hundreds of dogs that were admitted to the charity for temporary care during the pandemic have not been reclaimed.
It's resulted in hundreds of kennels having to be rented to provide accommodation at excessive cost.
Dr. Cyril Sullivan of the ISPCA, says any help at all from the public would be greatly appreciated.
