This investment will bring major improvements to our local sports and community facilities throughout Kildare
Kildare North has been awarded over €5 million from the Large Scale Sports Infrastructure Fund.
Sallins Amenity Lands will receive €3 million.
Planned additions include a grass GAA pitch, a multi-use grass pitch, two soccer grass pitches, an all-weather multi-use pitch, and a multi-use games area.
Naas GAA has been awarded €1 million to support its cross-community facilities in collaboration with Naas CBS and NCC. The funding will go toward the construction of floodlights, a gym, and pitches.
CllrEvie Sammon said Golf Ireland HP Centre will also receive €1.4 million to develop high-performance facilities for both female and male national squads.
