Dart and rail passengers are being asked to check their timetables online due to ongoing works this bank holiday weekend.
Iarnród Eireann are advising passengers to book in advance and online and warn of major works between Connolly station and Dundalk until Monday.
Services will also be disrupted on some Heuston and Waterford routes and passengers should check for alternative travel.
Communications manager with Irish Rail Barry Kenny says extra services will be put on for the Dublin City Marathon on Sunday and the Jazz festival in Cork.
