An education programme may be introduced following the July meeting with Kildare County Council
An education programme may be necessary to manage expectation on the kind of social housing available to the people of Kildare.
This was discussed by the Kildare County Council in their meeting in July.
The reference followed a comment about refusals of offers of housing, during discussion of a motion from Cllr Aidan Farrelly.
People should be aware of what social housing is available and the price involved.
One in five of offers of Council-owned were refused by housing applicants in 2023.
