The diverse range of organisations set to receive funding reflects Kildare's vibrant sporting landscape, encompassing disciplines such as GAA, rugby, basketball, equine sports, kayaking, and more.
The funding is part of the Sports Capital and Equipment Programme (SCEP), the primary means of government support for sports and recreation facilities development and the procurement of non-personal sports equipment nationwide.
Since its inception in 1998, over 13,000 projects have benefitted from sports capital funding across Ireland, totaling over €1.15 billion.
