The issue of water bursts in Kildare has been raised in the Dáil by a local TD.
Speaking yesterday, Kildare North Fine Gael TD Joe Neville said this is "about the basics".
"This is about people being able to have shower, being able to drink water, this is about elderly people knowing they can actually use their toilet."
He outlined that since a recent burst on June 9, there had been another outage.
While speaking in the Dáil, he also said the delivery of all segments in north Kildare "hasn't been good enough".
"It's not good enough, and it hasn't been good enough for years."
