Sinn Féin Councillor Shónagh Ní Raghallaigh urges the public to stay safe

Due to public safety concerns, the much-anticipated Christmas Lights ceremony in Kildare Town, originally scheduled for this evening at 5pm has been postponed.

Sinn Féin Councillor Shónagh Ní Raghallaigh asks everyone to stay safe while we get through storm Darragh.

Organisers have asked the community to spread the word and keep friends and families safe during this time.
