Students from Kildare Town Educate Together have received awards for their sustainability project.
They were among 1000 nationwide to present STEM projects tackling real world challenges at the Microsoft Dream Space National Showcase.

Students from Kildare Town Educate Together received the ‘Global Goal’ award for their project Smart Temperature Saver, which used a micro temperature sensor to help reduce energy waste.
Other students from Ardscoil na Trionóide, Coláiste Lorcáin, Maynooth Community College, Salesians College, Scoil Bhríde Kill, Scoil Dara Kilcock, Scoil Mhichil Naofa, St. Mary’s College and Youthreach Athy from Kildare were among 2,200 participating student ambassadors across 245 schools and Youthreach centres over the course of the 2025 academic year.
