Kildare Under Status Yellow Ice Warning From Tomorrow Evening As Temperatures Set To Plunge

Met Éireann is warning of hazardous travelling conditions and poor visibility.

Temperatures are expected to drop to as low as minus four degrees in parts of the country, with a number of status yellow warnings issued.

A Status Yellow low temperature and ice warning has been issued for Kildare, Carlow, Dublin,Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, Wexford, Wicklow and Munster from 6pm tomorrow evening until 11am on Sunday morning.

Donegal will be subject to a snow and ice alert from 8pm today until 11am tomorrow - and again from 6pm tomorrow until 11am on Sunday, along with Cavan, Monaghan, Louth and Connacht.
