Her home is owned by Dublin Simon, which says the situation is out of its control.
A Co. Kildare woman says she is facing homelessness on Monday, because of flooding in her home.
The apartment in which "Imelda" lives is in a building affected by damp and leakage.
There is mould on the walls, no electricity, and part of the ceiling in the kitchen has collapsed.
She says it is unliveable, and some of her belongings have been damaged by water.
"Imelda" became homeless four years ago, as a result of divorce.
She initially moved in to emergency accommodation, and was offered this apartment by Dublin Simon.
The charity does not own the building, and only owns the apartment in which "Imelda" lives.
It says maintenance team has been in "daily" contact with the building's managers and "the situation is not within our control."
"Imelda", speaking under a pseudonym to Kildare Today, says she has now been forced to move from the home.
In a statement to Kfm Radio, Dublin Simon says:
"Unfortunately, Dublin Simon owns the single apartment but not the wider building. This is managed by a property management company which is carrying out the works on the building. Our maintenance and repair team have been contacting the company on a daily basis advocating for our client and urging that the matter be resolved but unfortunately the situation is not within our control."
And Kildare County Council's statement is:
" Kildare County Council cannot comment on individual incidents or complaints. If a person wishes to make a complaint to Kildare County Council they can do so via telephone to customer services or by email customerservices@kildarecoco.ie and matters will be subsequently investigated. "
