Overall, three female tech founders from Carlow, Kildare and Down have been recognised during the annual Summit at Dublin’s Mansion House.
The awards celebrate early-stage progress among women-led tech ventures, with this year’s winners working across financial literacy, health technology and workflow optimisation.
The winners, Deirdre McCarthy of FLIT, Karen Kelly of HeartPath and Rachel McMullin of FreQNC, were all part of the inaugural InterTradeIreland-led WeBuild programme, delivered by TechFoundHer.
Kildare winner Karen Kelly’s platform HeartPath is an enterprise and community-level tool that helps organisations systematise how they check for and prevent long-term metabolic and heart-related health issues.
Carlow’s Deirdre McCarthy created financial literacy tool FLIT to support women in making more confident, informed and economically savvy financial decisions.
Held as Dublin Tech Week came to a close, the Summit brought together more than 300 female tech innovators, funders and ecosystem leaders from across Ireland and beyond.
