Kildare's Live Register For September Had Second Largest Percentage Increase

The figures from the Central Statistics Office show that in September, there were 110,672 people on the Live Register for less than one year

The seasonally adjusted live register total for September was 169,300 people - up 100 from August.

The figures from the Central Statistics Office show the counties that recorded the largest percentage increases were Dublin, up at 9.6%, and Kildare, up by 5.6%.

The largest decreases were in Galway (-6.1%) and Monaghan (-5.7%).

25 to 34 year olds made up the largest number of those on the live register last month, at 39,838 people or 24.1% of the total.
