The launch took place at its think-in in Athy.
Renters, of whom there are around 12,000 in Co. Kildare, are entitled to 'proper standards and security of tenure', according to the Labour Party.
It has launched its Renters’ Rights Bill at its think-in at the Clonard Court in Athy, which they say will redress the balance of power in the rental market.
The bill will be introduced to the Oireachtas next week.
Labour's housing spokesperson, Rebecca Moynihan, says it will also remove a ban on owning pets in rental accommodation
