The figures were posted on the Kildare Garda Division Facebook page
Kildare Gardai have seized a total of 48 vehicles for a range of motor offences in the past week.
In a post on their Facebook post, An Garda Síochána say some drivers were unaccompanied learners, disqualified drivers, had no insurance, no tax or no NCT.
Elsewhere, in the past 7 days, Gardai have arrested 17 motorists for driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
That figure represents a decrease in the number from the week previous, but Gardai say they can't get complacent.
Penalties for drink and drug driving include disqualification periods ranging from 1 to 6 years, fines up to €5,000, and up to 6 months imprisonment.
