The incident occurred between Thursday 10 September and the morning of Friday 11 September.
Gardaí are appealing for information after a number of items were stolen from a parochial house shed in Derrinturn.
The incident occurred at some point between 10pm on Thursday 10 September and the morning of Friday 11 September.
The shed, located on the R403 on the Edenderry to Allenwood road, is at the rear of the parochial house.
On Friday morning, the caretaker discovered a number of notable tools and machinery were stolen.
The items taken include an orange Husqvarna chainsaw, an orange STIHL strimmer, as well as LIDL Parkside products including a green leaf blower, a green lawnmower and a red double bench grinder.

There is no CCTV on the premises, but Gardaí say door-to-door enquiries are ongoing.
Speaking on Kildare Today, Naas Garda Mo Nerney said that the community is "at a loss" following the burglary.
"The community is at a loss here, the tools are gone for the upkeep of the church grounds, and unfortunately someone did break in. Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information."
Gardaí are particularly interested in information regarding anyone acting suspicious around the parochial house or the area during the 10th and 11th of September.
